was looking at a new prestone yellow bottle today.. on back of label it now says: borate, phosphate and silicate free.
however on the warning label, it says plain as day, it contains 2-EHA.
by removing the borates, phosphates and silicates, it becomes an asian antifreeze.. however with the 2EHA it's still a dex-clone.
I don't remember seeing this on other prestone labels, from years ago, then again, I pretty much made up my mind to only use prestone in cars earlier than 1995 anyway.
what gives?
