How long do these filters last with say M1 5w30?? Thanks

I don't know how you got 70% off store price ,I went to get a bunch of filters and they said the 70% off LIST price which is considerately higher and so being it was still almost 3.50 a filter being list price ,

Your driving style must be known to answer your question on the OCI. The Napa ProSelect may not use a higher quality anti-drainback valve - creating oil starvation for a couple of seconds during startup. Spending, an extra $2.00 for a better filter is well worth it. Consider returning or selling the ProSelect filters for a simple Purolator Classic and you'll sleep better and night. I know I would. I don't skimp on quality with fluids and filters on my vehicles.

Folks who don't drive much (with a lot of short trips) are typically advised to change their oil twice a year with a simple SN rated oil and regular oil filter.

You can purchase a 5-quart jug of Mobil 5000 for $12.97 and a Purolator oil filter for $3.27 at Walmart and this combo will keep your vehicles maintained for years to come.

Hope I covered the bases without knowing much about your driving habits.

Same shpeel I got. 70% off LIST, not the advertised price on the internet.

Tricky Napa, very tricky....

Same here. The coupon said 70% off list price but still, much better than the regular price.

Yeah, the NAPA Platinum is their full synthetic filter. Up there with the best of them IMO.

I have a buncha filters already, but I stopped by today and got a couple 1516 oil filters for $2.04 each and a spin-on transmission filter for $3.21 and a fuel filter for $7.49. Pretty sweet deal. I got 70% off the regular store price, not the MSRP. They had to do the pricing manually, because the computer was calculating off the MSRP I think. The parts guy said he's gonna have a lot of fun this weekend. HA

I am using a Pro Select right now without any problems. I always used Purolator Classics until recently the seam started leaking. I cut open another used one after 4500 miles to find a half inch tear in the media.I would stick with Wix.Uneven, wavy pleats with the classic.
