These ecore filters have held up well for me in the LS engine. I haven't cut one open yet that didn't look fine. I had thought I was getting startup noise with these, however, it turned out to be the normal GM LS cold start noise. I decided to hedge against these not being sourced by Delco (after the CHAMP labs shake up) and being replaced with a made in China variant (such as the PF663 I cut open earlier). I have become a real believer in the GM spec e-core.
