Does anybody know if they have a replaceable bushing in them?? My mother inlaws has about 1/4 inch droop at the latch. You can lift up the door 1/4 inch and it aligns perfectly. There is a lot of play in the hinge. Or am I going to have to replace the entire hinge assemblies??

My FSM only covers the Wranglers ..but my minivan has the same problem. I need to replace the pin if I can just buy that. It's worn on the lower hinge that has the "stops" attached to it. It creaks pretty loud ..and has for a while. I always wondered why lubing it never did anything ..then the door started sagging just a bit.

I've had the same issue with my old '78 Camaro (long, heavy doors get this problem a lot). Auto Zone and Advance Auto sell replacement bushings and hinge pins for a variety of vehicles. The bushings are a bronze part (I think) that you pound into the wallowed out original hole. Then use the new hinge pin. If it is a common problem, Auto Zone or Advance Auto would most likely have the replacements. Check the "Help" section at both stores. If they're not there, ask the salesman to check behind the counter. They're only a few dollars, too.
