I posted a used oil analysis of the ATF which is in my Jeep. I assume its about 50-60% Amsoil ATF. I am thinking I will change out all the fluid soon for fresh Amsoil ATF. Might run Auto-Rx in it for 1K miles first. The iron was 99 and I am sure the ATF had a lot of miles, but the Magnefine should have caught a lot of the iron. When I changed the Magnefine maybe 5K miles ago, it had a layer of iron grease covering the magnet.

Should I assume that chunks of the clutch discs that wear would be measured as silicon, or caught by the 30 micron filter in the Magnefine.

You would think the filter would catch the steel particles. On the other hand i wonder how high the iron would be sans Magnefine.
