Jaguar XK8

I have a 2001 Jaguar XK8 and have used Mobil 1 5w30, with a brief (10,000 mile) change to Pennzoil Platinum 5w30. I moved back to Mobil 1, since I was sure that I got more noise on start up with the PP, which was probably just psychological. I am at 70k miles and was wondering what other folks used on these engines.

Most XK8 owners I know run Mobil 1. The 'more' noise you heard with PP is psychological. PP is more than an excellent oil.
