Looks too nice inside and out for 500. I'd happily put an engine in it. Had a white 99 suburban just like that but with leather which was paper thin and cracked but wasn't torn somehow but having sat on the cloth seats the cloth is much better and more durable. Still miss it i just didn't have the space.

That's a slam dunk for you. Flipping it or keeping it? Those things were friggen tanks on tires!
It's a shame since most really nice survivors end up becoming owned by the low income type that utterly destroy them in a year. But the people that look for nice ones to enjoy are take care of can't ever find one.

You say bad engine but the oil and fuel needles are up. Volt needle looks dead. Does it have rod knock or a bad lifter sound?

I now remember the headlight wheel being made of that gross gummy rubber that does that. I think you can buy glue on molded caps that fit over them.

She squeaks & rattles bad! Locked up on the freeway was the reason it was towed in. No oil on the stick.....Took 3.75 quarts to register full.

Bet the filter was empty as well, That squeak means bad things!!

As long as it turns over to get the tc bolts out it's good enough for me. I wonder how the insides look on a partially locked engine. Does it still make that squeaking sound even when full of oil again? if so that's impressive. Bearings must be scraping bad.

These hold 5 quarts if I remember so it only had 1.25 quarts. I ran my 6 quart yukon on 2 quarts with a dry filter to see if it'd have oil pressure at idle and it did. I then revved and held over 3k waiting to see the needle stumble ready to shut it off but it never did. Made no sound too. Poured in the rest of the oil and it's still good over a year later after that little risky test out of curiosity. I imagine I barely had enough oil at 1.7 quarts to keep the pickup fully pumping so 1.25 is too little.
