Issues with a pull-down hose on kitchen faucet

So it’s finally in there. Installation was extremely easy with the big sleeve style plastic nut with a brass insert. The bottom of the faucet opening was a big brass shank. It didn’t stick out much as this is a granite counter that adds about 3/4”, but it was enough. With the sleeve I could even hand tighten with one hand reaching in while my other hand held on to the faucet to keep it from rotating. This actually has a ball on the pullout hose at the sprayer end. I don’t know exactly how the previous one was sealed, but I realize it wasn’t a ball, and it was leaking severely.

When I first had water going through the faucet, it came out black, but was clear within 5 seconds.

If it’s still working in a couple of years, I consider that a win.

If you decide to take on the challenge, this WeWe brand faucet on Amazon is as good or better than any other brand name unit I have installed. Installed four of these faucets in kitchens for family and friends and each household raves about it's performance. I can install one of these faucets in 15 minutes flat as soon as the water supply is shut off. Heck of a steal at today's Lightning Deal price.

I had a look at it. Two days ago it was saying I had about three hours to take advantage of a Lightning Deal. But I checked today and it's available for the same price that's not a special price. Go fig.
