Hi all,

Per the thread title, I'm trying to find out if there is any lead in Redline SI-1 to determine whether the additive was the cause of elevated lead on a UOA.

If anyone knows the answer, I would be grateful if you could let me know.

(I did email Redline about a week ago, but have not received a response)

I recall this question being asked on a forum a few years back, the answer was no. It is FI cleaner not a lead supplement, or substitute.
Think it was a fuel system cleaner. For the longest time you could get Si-1 in most parts store but now that has shortened up. Used to buy Redline Oil at Advance Auto Parts back in 2004.

I do remember the discussion a few years back about Techron possibly causing elevated lead in UOA's. Can't remember what the result was, but as I recall it wasn't a one-off phenomenon.
