A clone 1911 throws the same 45 acp bullet. If you look around the cheap government model 45's go for between $300 and $500. If you have to have a silencer be prepard to spend some money and get uncle Sam's permission. Yea, yea, yea, I know, it's not pretty unless it's plastic. kwg

The prolly has a lot to do with the M9 Berreta and NATO etc.


9mm with good ammo will equal most .40 and .45 rounds for effectiveness so all that extra "size" is just wasted gun capacity.
