Is Maxlife 10w40 a blend?

I just bought some Valvoline Maxlife 10w40 oil in their 5 quart plus jug. It did not state it was a blend. My previous identical purchase stated it was a blend. Is there a change?

Yes, Valvoline MaxLife in the red bottle is a synthetic blend.

It's a recent change.....they "jumped ship" from the "Synthetic Blend" craze.......now it appears only MotorCraft is "still there"

castrol is funny, on their Syntec/Edge they use the term "PART SYNTHETIC" LOL....

I could have sworn I read somewhere about the whole "Synthetic Blend" thing going to "court" for discrepency though? What constitutes a "blend" - exactly? 99% Conventional, and 1% Synthetic? Further more, you have various "grades" or "qualities" of "synthetics" lol?
