I was casually browsing some used EV listings and discovered that a private sale does not qualify for any tax credit rebate. However, licensed companies like KeySavvy exist as a third party intermediary to facilitate private automotive sales. This process allows private sales transactions to circumvent the IRS credit exclusion for private used EV sales as the sale is technically a consignment transaction.
