I see about 3 different ones on Rock Auto Motorcraft KT-5,KT7,and KH145. They are listed as tubes so I guess these are the only ones I need for the Heater hoses. Does that sound right?
although changing all hoses and hose clamps is best, your upper radiator hose probably needs changing much sooner than any other. oddly enough, it often is the easiest to get to. Seems too good to be true.
Hoses usually give trouble where they flex, often around the
area where they are clamped. In a pinch (no pun) you can cut the failed end back a bit and reattach. I'd keep a roll of electrical tape in the trunk as well. When doing a temporary patch, leave the radiator or coolant bottle cap loose and drive with care.
