Hey guys. So I'm running Pennzoil conventional right now, which obviously has more moly content than say Mobil Super which has basically none. We all know Mobil Super uses titanium instead, and my question is that since moly supposedly builds up a layer or "plates" your bearings for protection, wouldn't it be better to continue the use of a moly oil over multiple OCIs? Is it bad (or at least a waste) to run a moly add pack and then just "wash" that moly layer away with a titanium add pack oil?
If true, then is there really some weight behind the old mentality of not switching oil brands often?
