Hastings is my #1 preferred oil filter.

Hastings are also my preferred oil filter and again they are the same as Baldwin bieng produced on the same line and just changing the paint and graphics, as far as compared to WIX I believe they are at a minimum equal, some will say WIX has a silicone ADBV but that should not be a deal breaker, Hastings has a much more heavy duty steel coil spring and the design of their center tube is nice,

Hastings = My all time favorite filter. The oil actually looks cleaner at drain time. You gotta seek them out.

I rarely see a Hastings filter. I used baldwins for a while.
Both Hastings and Baldwin filters are well regarded, and I use both. A good source for Baldwin is www.truckhelp.com and a good source for Hastings in www.zorotools.com.
