IPhone connecting to Fedora. Why?

So I just looked at my phone and noticed that my IPhone was connected to my Linux "Fedora" laptop. Why would either of them connect to each other? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
Currently running latest version of IOS for 13 pro max and KDE Fedora.

Someone must have paired them at some point. If you have no use for this just tell one or both to forget the other one.

You can copy files (e.g. pictures) over the link but it is very slow compared to USB cable or WiFi.
