Am in the process of increasing the throttle body size on my LS1. After removing the stock throttle body I had a look inside the intake manifold to see if the inverse oiler was a benefit to the engine. The inverse oiler has been on for about 700 miles, all the while misting MMO into the intake. Was pleasantly surprised to find zero carbon inside the intake or on the throttle body. I mean other than the fact that there's MMO coated on everything, it is spotless. I'd bet that the top end of the engine is equally as clean & lubricated. Makes me wonder why people ever got away from these things. Very happy with the results.
