Insurance Fraud Attempt Captured In Broad Daylight Should Be All The Motivation You Need To Finally Pick Up A Dash Cam

Surely with the crystal clear license plates, and images of these pieces of human garbage along with date and time, there is enough for law enforcement to follow through.
You would think, i wouldn't bet on it though.

Should be able to get her insurance companies Special Investigative Unit on it though.
The actual driver of the vehicle exited from the passenger side and snuck into the getaway SUV that pulled in front of the Honda. He was the professional criminal.

Because he knew the second he got enteried into a police report and claim file ISO/NICB would link him to previous claims.

Honestly, I don't understand how dash cams are not at least an option on all new cars in past say 5 years. I'd pay extra $300 for front and back cams with parking mode and ability to turn cams off. Many cars come with backup cams already, just add front cam and ability to record from both whether with engine on only or full time.
I agree. This is one of the things Tesla gets right. All cars should have something like that.

Charged with? Naw cops get out of their car already firing their guns if someone does that to them. If the perp survives then they'd be charged with attempted murder.

That's what they charge you with around here if you hit a cruiser during a police chase if the contact is incidental. If you purposefully ram the cruiser, you get the attempted murder charge.

Yet if they attempt to murder or do murder a citizens it's just too bad so sad. Even if they flip a pregnant lady doing exactly what the drivers hand book says to do... And if "they" is Arkansas or Georgia (and probably some other states) your snuff video will end up on you tube.

But I digress....

"Rules for thee but not for me". There should never be different rules for different "people", no matter what their job is.

Sounds like a Jamaican, etc. scam.
I've watched the video several times, and I grew up with Jamaicans in Queens, and not a single person that climbed out of that car was Jamaican.

That's also the section of the Belt Parkway between the Southern State Parkway, and the Conduit Avenues exits.
I know that area VERY well, since I grew up just North of there, off of the Hempstead Avenue exit.
There's a curve just down the road where people can never seem to get around safely in the rain, where the Belt Parkway goes from being a North South road into an East West road.

So many accidents in that stretch of road.
Not surprised in the least that someone decided that was a good spot to commit car insurance fraud there.

Oh, and the 105th Precinct simply refuses to respond to crashes on that section of highway that don't include death
They were a lazy bunch of goons when I grew up on 101 Avenue between 1974 and 1994.
They were a lazy bunch of wimps when I was an adult living on 144th Ave in Springfield Gardens from 2000 to 2006.
And they still haven't improved any since then.
