I ordered the Tefba coolant filter for my Zx2 and it should be here soon. Installing the Tefba in the upper radiator hose It will be a very tight fit installing it between the radiator and the 90* bend to the left going to the thermostat. I can gain another inch if I slide the Tefba inlet inside the upper radiator hose flange and use a very short section of hose and two clamps to hold it together. IF the inlet of the tefba is smaller the the radiator hose flange, which I think it will be as I ordered the 1.25" Tefba filter, would there be any issues doing this???

Return it while you can.
This should not be needed in any car.
If you have some massive problem that this could help with, then simply fix the massive problem.

John, the zx2 is running fine. I do yearly drain and refills using Prestone Dexclone distilled water. I have been doing this for 8 years. I have 220k on the odo. I'm just wanting to get any trash out of the system if there is any. This would help prolong the lives of the water pump, heater core, radiator and t-stat.
