I'm sure everyone seen flies, bees, spiders and other insects in the car. But here is my story below.

My dad had a 1980s (forgot the exact year) beige Buick Century with the 3.8L V6, got it in the late 80s used. It was the first car as a kid that I really remember something about. Had bench front seat, am/fm radio, manual crank windows in front and quarter window in rear. That was a nice car.

One thing I remember the most about it in a bad way was it had a roach problem. You would see them climb on the windows, seats and one even made its way inside the instrument cluster. Not a very pleasant ride, you get that feeling a roach would crawl on you or sat on one. The cause is still a bit of a mystery. Passengers including myself eat in the car and of course leave crumbs behind. We cleaned the car more often and even put those roach traps (not the sticky kind). Sort of worked for a while but they would come back. I heard that the roaches would nest in the engine compartment and eat the grease and oil. When the engine gets hot, they would start to move in to the passenger cabin. Eventually the car had engine and trans trouble and got rid of the car in the mid 90s. So this car was known notoriously as the "roach car." Every time this car was mentioned by dad would say the roach car.

This is (more like was!) my 1985 Buick Century wagon at a missile test site. I owned this car for a a little over a year before I bought my A4. It's the worst car I've ever owned (it did have several hundred thousand miles on the engine -- the exact number is unknown). I had lots of adventures with it -- most of them involved breaking down far of the well-traveled road. However, my Century was free of rodent, insect, and fungus infestation.

I got ya beat! I have a 1996 International Dump Truck at work I use daily that has a nice fat field mouse living in it. I found the hole he goes in and out of ( Rusted panel along the floor). I have never seen a mouse this fat! He eats a the left overs that the guys leave in the truck because they are too lazy to throw their trash away. It's a bonus for Mr. Mouse. He's had a steady diet of Wendy's, Mc Donald's along with Taco Bell.

The best part of the day is driving along with the windows down (No A/C) and a big Bumble Bee, Hornet, or Dragon Fly comes in to greet the driver and passenger. I get cussed out because it usually ends up with my passenger fighting off the winged terror, arms flying and screaming insue. I pull over and laugh so hard tears come from my eyes! I just tell my work partner to leave the poor bug alone, learned that from years of keeping bees with my dad. Leave bugs alone in turn they will leave you alone. Well, that line does not go over too good. I counter with "Big man like you scared of a little bee!" You would think they were fighting off "Rodan" from the Japanese monster movies with the stories they tell the other guys when they get back to the shop at the end of the day!

Guy I work with tells the story how when he was a teen he was working helping direct cars to park at some event and this one guy flips him off and cusses him out and proceeds to go park wherever he pleases. Well the guy had a convertable and the top was down, so this kid gets a tree branch and stirs up a fire ant nest so they are crawling all over the end of the branch, then shakes it out over the interior of the guys car. Bet that was quite a suprise on the ride home.

some years ago i got a ford festiva for free. this thing has rust holes the size of my fifts in the sides. i bet it came from up north. anyways i put it in the paper for $500 and a description of how its got fist sized rist holes but it runs great.
some guy calls up asking about the car. he wants to know how bad the rust holes have gotten. i reply to him, "well the holes are big enough for the mice family that lives in it, but small enough that cats cant get in." he didnt know what to say to that, just kind of mumbled or tried to hold in laughter., so i added "look its a $500 car, what do you want a creampuff?"
he apologised for asking about the rust and made an appointment to see the car. he came later that day and bought it. the mouse family was included at no charge :P

Dropped the sunvisor one morning, only to find that there was a freakin huge huntsman spider (4" spread) sitting on top of the visor, followed quickly by sitting on my lap.

Were you driving at that point or just sitting in the driveway? If I was driving, I would have an instant crash. My arachnophobia owns me.
