To me the numbers are so close yet the Motorcraft is $4 and M1 is $10
I was just thinking price.
Maybe I am wrong.. I do not understand the Filter Efficiency Standard and Micron Ratings
The M1 (SAE J1858 Multi Pass @ 25 microns) 99.20% w/ Micron Rating 10
Motorcraft has 80% Rating w/Micron Rating 20
Just to let you know, there is a big difference in effiecency between 99% effiecent @ 25 micron and 80% effiecent at 20 microns. Since 20 and 25 microns are pretty close in size, it says the Motorcraft is almost 20% LESS effiecent in filtering performance.
The Ford racing filter has a great filter effiecency and flow performance however.
