In-N-Out opening in Tennessee along with an eastern headquarters in Nashville area

I always forget - my "Habit" isn't what you guys are talking about.

"My" Habit is called Hamburger Habit owned and run by the same guy for like 50 years.

Will have to check out Hamburger Habit the next time I am in Southern California.

When in Southern California I try to visit Portillo's in Moreno Vallet or Buena Park.

I grew up in Chicago, Portillos was a staple, although I only ever got dogs and fries as a kid. LOVED it.

If you are in West LA and only have time for one in that areas check out the Apple Pan.

Place has been around since 47 this is the best burger in LA.

Go for the Hickory burger. This is one of the the rare - " just order it and eat it"

Like in n out - They have it figured out and it cannot be improved upon with addition of subtraction of ingredients.

Actually to counter one of Gons many gross generalization posts- in my area Chilli's currently has a $10.00 " smash burger" that is quite good. And I'm a burger snob. Burger, salad, and fries- $10.00.

I will stick to Culvers.....They make great burgers....
I prefer Culver’s as well but they got rid of the $5 snack pack making the smallest value menu item $9.xx

A coupon takes off a buck or provides a free cheese curd upgrade.

Many times I don’t want a drink and if I want a side I just buy it because the “value meal “ is almost exactly the same as the alacarte price.

The saving grace are the buy one get one free Culver’s double deluxe, if mom is along though everything is too big for her appetite and sadly the smaller sandwich costs more when coupons are involved.

Even though I can’t eat ice cream every order can get a free cone after filling out a survey (I sometimes eat part of it anyway, welcome to asthma)

Gotta wonder why all the fast food places have made the value basket a full price one instead of the no brainer it used to be (a while back it made the news that a place was charging more for the value basket than the items bought separately
