Image resolution change?

This is a screenshot posted from a mobile device.

Yes, it does look worse. Probably because my phone's screen resolution isn't as good as my PC's.
Agree. But the resolution of the screen on your phone should not affect the resolution of a photo saved on your phone. Did you screenshot it or did you just download and re-upload via your phone?

Here's a screen shot on the cell phone of post 19. Just cropped off the dead space before attaching to this post. It's still readable on my phone when zoomed in, and still pretty readable when uploaded here and zoomed in.

I screenshoted.

Downloading and re-uploading would have resulted in a better image quality, but I wanted to mimic what those other members did: I'm guessing they opened a PDF with Amsoil specs on their phone, took a screenshot, and then posted it on BITOG.

That’s why. You lose resolution every time you screenshot.

Yes, they take a screenshot of the zoomed out specs. As Wayne notes, I think this is mainly a mobile issue. On a computer you’re not taking screenshots of zoomed out, tiny PDFs that are sized to fit the mobile screen.

I did a screen shot of post 19 just as it showed on my cell phone screen, then uploaded it in post 26, where it's still completely readable if you zoom in on it. Of course the smaller the text on the screenshot the worse it will be. If someone did a screenshot on a big computer screen it wouldn't be a problem.
