Welcome to the forum but please be warned that it can be a slippery slope. I originally joined to find an alternative oil filter for my riding mower. That progressed to UOAs and extended drain intervals. Now my cars are all getting HPL Premium Plus... Who knows where this may end?

Years later, my friends' kids call and ask about oils and transmission fluids.

You'll find that there are some very knowledgeable people here. Figuring out who they are takes some time, but is worth the effort. BITOG is among my favorite forums, as answers of all sorts exist here.

What's interesting is that when researching motor oil related subjects via AI, like Grok3, nearly always BITOG is referenced for the answers.
