Illegal Immigrants Poem


I cross ocean,

poor and broke,

Take bus,

see employment folk.


Nice man treat me

good in there,

Say I need to

see welfare.


Welfare say,

"You come no more,

We send cash

right to your door."


Welfare checks,

they make you wealthy,

Medicaid it keep

you healthy!


By and by,

I got plenty money,

Thanks to you,

American dummy.


Write to friends

in motherland,

Tell them 'come

fast as you can.'


They come in turbans

and Ford trucks,

I buy big house

with welfare bucks


They come here,

we live together,

More welfare checks,

it gets better!


Fourteen families,

they moving in,

But neighbor's patience wearing thin.


Finally, white guy

moves away,

Now I buy his house,

and then I say,


"Find more aliens

for house to rent."

And in the yard

I put a tent.


Send for family

they just trash,

But they, too,

draw the welfare cash!


Everything is

very good,

And soon we

own the neighborhood.


We have hobby --

it's called breeding,

Welfare pay

for baby feeding.


Kids need dentist?

Wife need pills?

We get free!

We got no bills!


American crazy!

He pay all year,

To keep welfare

running here.


We think America

darn good place!

Too darn good for

the white man race.


If they no like us,

they can scram,

Got lots of room in

Pakistan.

SEND THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN

Ever since I graduated from college, I've been
taxed to death.

I'm single, don't own a house and I live in
California. So, over the years, I've payed
close to half a million dollars in taxes.

However, I don't like buster's poem. It's really
xenophobic and it suggests that people can get
wealthy from welfare checks. I have not seen
anybody get wealthy off of welfare checks, and
with Republicans in office all the loop-holes
are closed.

You know, it used to be that anyone who could
come to the U.S. could come as long as they
hopped on a boat. This was when the boats
were called "Mayflower" or some such Anglican
sounding name.

Did you ever wonder why we won the cosmic lottery
to be born or to have become U.S. citizens?

The poem is really offensive and borderline
racist.

J,

You miss the one factor that makes this poem hit home. We are giving up freedoms left and right and more illegal immigrants are pouring in every day of all races creeds and colors.

When you are used to living, or starving, on $15 a month a US welfare is a heck of an increase. Also, illegal immigrants have many, many children and many become a burden on the american taxpayer. Illegal immigrants also cause crime and form enclaves that never become integrated into american culture--by definition not a good thing.

The peom may appear borderline racist, but it hits the emotional center of the problem.

At this point, a large dose of reality needs to be shined on this problem. And I am past the point that I much care if I offend anyone either about it.

Finally, it always seems wonderous to me why all of these illegal immigrants dont stay home and make their country better. Why come here and mess mine up? The USA is getting close to no longer being able to add illegals to the boat, the water is lapping very close to the edge of sinking all of us.

Well I don't think its racist at all.
Last time I checked immigrant was race neutral.
They are illegal-they don't belong here and I don't want them here They use services, and energy/electricity which we don't have enough of. They cost me money in taxes and my medical insurance.

There are many 2nd and 3rd generation poor in this country who have made the government handout their main source of income.

It has become part of the culture. The way to enhance your income is to have children.

Prior to the '60s, government spending was about 5% of GDP, today it's more like 40%.

The government spending has not alleviated poverty, it has perpetuated it.

Yeah, and I foolishly thought a Republican Legislative Branch and a GOP President would have some spending discipline...

I really think we need term limits so these clowns that want to make a career out of politics cannot do so. Perfect solution, nah, but the current bunch sucks.

Sure, the word "immigrant" is race neutral, but
above highlighted line in this "poem" is clearly
racist.

Only guys who are named Bubba would write a "poem" like that let alone post it. People used to blame the American Indian for problems in this country. In the last century that switched to the Irish and Blacks. Now out of ignorance, certain people blame "illegal immigrants" for our country's ills. More american citizens are on welfare than resident or illegal aliens in this country. Posts like that really dont belong on a site like this.

I'm one of the more liberal people on here but I love a good laugh once in awhile. There is some truth to it, regardless of what you think. I'm a realist, not a racist and I refuse to be politically correct too. Freedom of speech. Freedome to dislike. What can I say. I love it.

I know of a resident alien who has a child that's an American citizen and she lives and works in Mexico but she receives WIC assistance from the US for the child at her other address in The Valley.
The system permits that.
I pay $400 a month for health insurance at my work. The solution to my problem is to work 2 jobs.
I don't think too much of our system.

How can illegal aliens collect welfare anyway?

Not only is the "poem" xenophobic, it doesn't
make any sense.

Illegal immigrants buy fake id. I have a friend that works with the INS and he has some for display.

also an illegal woman can be pregnant, run across the border, drop the kid and its now an american citizen entitled to apply for all types of give aways. This also entitles the mother since the child has to be taken care of.

Furthermore, talk with anyone in California who has to deal with the influx of people that dont speak English. They create a huge burden that someone has to pay for.
