Using edge it appears that if you leave a google search open a “pop over” add can block the search results with an X to exit
This machine is up to date and rarely touches anything besides a overview of advanced excel features or a Google search without clicking into anything.
From my standpoint it appears google must be actively trying to go out of business and will end up in the dustbin with webcrawler and lycos which both near the end became a pron and adware injection device.
