do a search for DOS emulator Vista - you might come up with something.

I used to have an Atari 800XL, C64, and Amiga500 emulator on my old PC.

*Don't* -- You should "upgrade" to DOS, or FreeDOS

Disregard the above --- Since I know you're an ubuntu user, you could always just install DOS or FreeDOS as a virtual machine and run the whole OS within the soft, pillowy protection of ubuntu + VirtualBox!

DOS Box works on multiple platforms. It completely emulates a 16-bit DOS environment. An excellent choice for running old games on new a OS:

I was neat to see an HP AMD Athlon 3500+ laptop running a really old verion of Castle Wolfenstein & Red Baron thanks to DOS box. Both were running under WinXP 64-bit version, which does not run any 16 bit x86 code:

I'm a huge Monkey Islands fan and have all the versions... I also like Wolfenstein.

Memories...

I use DOS-box as well, works great for all my oldies. I have EGA Family Fued and Jeopardy which work well.

I don't know Atari stuff, I was too young then... But I know what you mean... Memories with the oldies that never seem to age in our minds!
