Was @ Volk Field in WI (Camp Douglas area) in early 1990's and there was a number of those from, I believe, Luke AFB; the planes were going to depot prior to being transferred to the Saudis

The pilots took off like that ever day and went vertical until a mere spec in the sky. Fun memory.
 
I used to park side of the road at runways end in St Clair shores MI AFB. the F16's would come right at you then vertical at the fence and loop over the top inverted then slowly roll over going away toward Grayling. fantastic seeing them closeup.
 
After seeing this video, I recalled that the F-15 had several "time to climb" records. I had to look it up.

The latest record is: From brake release, it climbed to over 98000 feet in less than 3 1/2 minutes. That's crazy!
