I need to get rotors

My Titan has warped rotors yet again . I'm not all that pleased with the OEM rotors at all .
I don't tow or haul heavy ,nor do I abuse the brakes, yet I've replaced the rotors twice in 5 years. So, having completed my rant , who makes a decent after market rotor ?
 
Are you sure? Most 'warped' rotors actually have pad deposits on them.

Be careful you don't mistake a pad problem for a rotor problem or you'll be right back where you started.
 
Brembo, Balo, Napa Advanced (US made if available).

If its just the physics of the use profile, you may just need to eat it, which stinks, but what else can you do? Big brake kit?
 
Twice in 5 years is really quite good considering what I am used to. I generally would do brakes once every 2 years or less if I was doing mostly city. Now that I am doing mostly highway my brakes are lasting a long time.
 
A heavy truck thats heavily brake biased to the front (70/30?) and probably has a height sensing rear proportioning valve,5 years is very good.If you want brakes to last longer,buy a manual tranny vehicle and downshift (and buy clutch covers and hydraulics).

Fairly sure . I don't sit at a stop with the brakes clamped on . And the truck isn't used all that much . It got 25+ k on it in those 5 years . So , I think the brake problem is a bit over the top . I've also had to replace the rear rotors due to corrosion . But, that's on me due to lack of use I suppose.

Might be a good idea to check runout in the hub and runout with the new rotor installed. If it keeps happening repeatedly, that would make be believe it's a runout issue.

I think the problem has been identified unless you drive around using only the front brakes.

Use the truck more frequently, find a better storage solution, or accept that your brake rotors will become rusty.
 
In addition to runout, check with the mfg to see if there are any TSBs on this issue. On a number of Hondas, there have been TSBs issued citing pad material causing uneven rotor wear, to be the issue of pedal pulsation. In those cases, an updated pad is available to resolve the issue.
