After wet-molding a pouch for my mushroom knife I wanted to make a pouch for my Wenger SAK. This time I didn't want to wet-mold the leather. Instead of 3 pieces of leather (front and back plus a belt loop) I would have four pieces (wrap-around front back, two sides, a belt loop). Since I am not fond of and not good at sewing I decided to attach the belt loop with solid copper rivets with burrs this time around. Maybe I can do a pouch with only rivets.

The result:

The edges look still very rough and unfinished. I still have to sand, slick and burnish them for a smoother look. I also have to smoothen the peened rivet ends. I have a cup burr on order that I think will will be the most convenient tool.

Here are all the parts. 5-6 oz cowhide, line 20 snaps, and #12 solid copper rivets and burrs. I use very strong Tex 270 (ca 0.75mm) bonded Nylon thread.
