few year back I saw an user here using a fancy oil filter cutter, I think the color was purple. I told myself i want one of those. Any one know a good oil filter cutter that good but not cost 50-100 dollar. Give a clean cut.

Nobody will sell an oil filter cutter to a BITOG member unless said member can show proof that he has a filter cutting certificate. LoL

Anyone who's not a BITOG member however doesn't need the certificate because they were born with innate skills to cut open oil filters blindfolded without harming the contents inside.

ok as promise, here some of the old oil filter, I though I have more then this, I remember i save a K&N and fram TG few year back and some odd name oil filter, my wife must throw it away.

also I found an old old 10 year old Mitsubishi oil filter, I use to own a 97 Mitsubishi eclipse 2.0L and a Eagle Talon TSI AWD Turbo my first race cars, and crash it , the oil filter is only thing I have left that remember of that car.

I only keep 1 left, note the blue ADBV and the white goose oil, it use to be fresh oil, but its turn white now. I wonder who made this oil filter.

There's some fat guy that jogs his sweaty, obese body down the street here every day, in an effort to burn off calories. If he can do that, you can do this! No excuses!

Yep, me too. I've found that it just takes more than 1 or 2 times around the can to get it cut all the way through depending on the thickness of the can. It also helps to remove the gasket from the base and then go at it.
