I can't get pdf files correct

I am PC challenged first off. I cannot get pdf files to open. They download but open in an encrypted way and not always in english. When they are in english there is no way I can figure them out I have many downloads that won't open right. They open in MS word but ask for a paid subscription. Then open encrypted.

You can go to adobe's website and download a FREE Adobe acrobat reader. no fee, no subscription. anything else is simply trying to rip you off.

adobe has been distriubting their free reader for many many years.

I second tomcat27's recommendation as you need a good PDF reader. On a computer that is low on resources, the free Foxit PDF reader is also a good option.

I use Foxit pdf reader.

I got tired of Adobe wanting to update all the dang time, even after disabling updates.

Foxit loads faster as well.
