My '07 Santa Fe calls for PSF-4. It appears to be a proprietary Hyundai/Kia fluid that is a little pricy. Is anyone familiar with a compatible fluid?

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

I think the last time this came up the conclusion is there's not a perfect fluid to replace it. Many people go hundreds of thousands of miles never changing oem psf. If you want to get a jump on it and change it either through suck and fill or return line disconnected I'd honestly recommend the oem fluid for this.

IIRC the oem fluid has excellent cold properties and that may be desirable for you.

I don't know how much you saw it for but this looks good.

When I had a Hyundai, I used Royal Purple's synthetic PS fluid because the OE fluid was difficult to come by at the time. I spoke to RP on the phone and they said their fluid was compatible with Hyundai PSF.

Of course they do...

901memphis,

That (6.58) is a great price. Right about the same as Prestone AS269, that I've read some others have used in Asian vehicles.
