Just saw this at Walmart. Looks like it was recently put on the shelf. 16oz for $2.47. Scanned it with the WM app and the same price came up. Located in the OPE section next to the bar & chain oil. No ratings mentioned on the label. Blue in color. Feels pretty thin when shaking the bottle. I didn't buy any.

Anyone know anything about this stuff?

The UPC lists it as the old Black Max synthetic 2-cycle oil. The MSDS is published by Phillips 66 and lists them as the manufacturer/supplier.

Good detective work

I saw this at my Local Walmart today. It was weird as they had 2-stroke oil in two different places. I just have a difficult time getting past extreme or aggressive branding of products. It's not Tough or super tough nah it's HYPER TOUGH. I'm surprised that there wasn't any labeling. Is this stuff JASO FD rated and fully synthesized?

I don't see any JASO approvals or categories. That's why I didn't buy it when I saw it. (Ex: JASO-FD)

I’m confused by Walmart and HyperTough - having multiple places to maintain - have bought allot of tools under that name for convenience in light service - cheap, stash them handy - they have been great - but oil ?
