So in Canada, we have this Esso XD-3, heavy duty 0w40 full PAO synthetic. Lots of talk how great it is /price,etc...
The Lawn tractor's transmission, a Tuff-Tork k66 calls for 10w30 conventional, or synthetics for heaver service, some put in 5W50, M1's, GC, racing oils, etc.
I Read how much better the thing runs on synthetics... less whine, more power to the ground.
QUESTION: Would the nature of this XD-3 PAO work well in this application? Any concerns with seals, etc?
TIA
