Took this one apart today to see about replacing the o ring seals on the parking brake shaft. Turns out I didn't have to as HG doesn't want us getting inside that far to fix a known issue that should be a recall. Their fix is to sell a $100.00 kit to seal the shaft from the outside. Pretty hokey. We did have the o rings in stock to reseal the inboard side of the shaft so I did, kit is coming for the outboard. Parking brake shaft is dark colored to the left of the small gear. It is not removable without pulling the motor, main pump, charge pump and valve requiring special tools first. The channel on the left is from the filter outlet to the charge pump inlet.
