Hy-perlube Racing Formula

I bought several bottles of this at about 1/2 price.

Wonder if anyone has used this product?

Would like to use it in an over 200K mile manual trans that is in good condtion...3 qts Mobil synthetic gear oil, 1 qt Hyperlube, and some moly.

Can you answer the following questions about your product please.





1. Percentage of chlorine by weight,
2. decomposition by-products,
3. At what temperature do these chlorinated compounds (CP's) decompose,
4. how hygroscopic are these esters/paraffins
5. What ASTM metal and corrosion tests have these CP's been subjected to, what were the testing parameters, and what were the results/findings.
6. useful life in lubricating fluids.

Jojoba oil is simply a natural ester of the Jojoba plant.

The major hype I guess is the inclusion of the jojoba oil.

How much does it cost per bottle. per ounce?

How much Jojoba oil is contained therein and not merely diluted?

Prices I have seen are approx. $1.40 to $1.70/ounce for first-pressed Jojoba oil.

let me see if I can further explain:

Jojoba oil is a very good natural ester.

But I have not seen any results to-date to determine how much Jojoba oil in a synthesized ester, hydrocarbon, or mineral oil reduces friction and wear, or stabilizes tbn, or reduces oxidation.

Does the company have any white papers, biased or otherwise, that discusses any of this?
