Husqvrna 322 weed wacker

I gave up on it last fall. When I ordered the new carb, I should have ordered a new choke lever too. I broke it trying to swap it over. $4 from Partstree with an $8 shipping charge. I mixed up some fresh mix and trimmed the driveway edges. It runs so well, I turned down the idle so the head doesn't spin at an idle.

Yah, I was thinking I have enough jungle for getting a pair of pygmy goats. My grounds are by no means a lawn.

I was having carb trouble with my Echo weed whacker always having to adjust it and clean it out. No amount of cleaning was ever a fix. So finally I purchased a new one and with a minor amount of tuning the Echo runs like brand new.

The passages and jets must corrode and there is no fix other than replacing the whole thing.

Tomorrow I try some premix in the can for the first time, 50:1, 93 octane, synthetic oil and no corn.

Yah, I have been messing with carbs forever. The carb was new from Partstree. Last fall without the choke lever, I drove myself crazy trying to set the high and low speed needles. Nothing worked except running half choked. I started yesterday with fresh mix just to see where I had left off. It started! I think I had lost the orientation of the choke flap and was trying to adjust the carb while choked. When the new lever arrives we will see.

It's a great thing if the carb has mixture screws you can get at. I know a quick adjustment on my Husqvarna 125L totally transformed it. I did have to mail order the adjustment tool though.
