Husqvarna grass trimmers and hedge trimmers require grease in gear box. Husqvarna specs “Husqvarna Special Grease”, no other specs given. 14oz tube $27.00 Does anyone know actual specs on this grease ? Don’t want to use wrong product and void warranties on my equipment.
Use Mystik JT6 multi-purpose hi-temp on everything else mower spindles, chainsaw bars, various equipment.

When the seal failed in my rotary brush mower I filled it with this 00 grease from Tractor Supply. That was four years ago and it's still doing fine, and that's a much higher stress load than a weed trimmer. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/super-s-cotton-picker-spindle-grease-00

How long is your warranty? My Husqvarna trimmer head is 7-8 years old now and hasn't been greased so i suspect anything you add will only help. Even if you do nothing at all it will probably survive well past the warranty period.

My Maruyama and Husqvarna timmers get filled with Oregon chainsaw bar grease. It's a #2 Hi temp lithium grease made by Hallbauer. The Maruyama OEM grease is nothing special just a #2 lithium complex.
My one remaining Stihl gets Stihl Superlub FS that threads directly into the bevel gear.
Just about any grease is better than nothing.
