HummingBIRDS are finally back. Not any other kind of hummer. Sheesh.

Am I the only one or did anyone else have this come to mind before reading the thread?

Doh! My hanging posts for my hummingbird feeders are still at my old place (my wife's Aunt's house). I've got to go get them this weekend. I love my hummingbirds!

Ours stay all winter. When we refill the feeder when it's cold, sometimes they'll fly up and drink while it's still in my hand.

They're back and they're cool! I don't think it can fly, though, and it charges via electricity, not nectar from flowers and stuff.

Saw my first 2 on Tuesday, but knew they'd been back for a bit as the nectar was disappearing since I hung them up a couple weeks ago. Have to get the cam equipped one back up so I can take some pics. Usually see them much sooner than this, but glad they're back.
In the past they let me know when they are back. They will fly up to me and hover in front of my face. Twice they have come into my garage to let me know they are back.

I recently downloaded the Merlin Bird App on my phone. You can press a button to record live bird calls and it will tell you what the bird is and give you information about it. You can also upload a picture of the bird to identify it or you can respond to questions as to its size, colors, etc. It is a really cool app and it is free to use.

I have had mine up for two weeks - haven't seen any :(

I do have my pair of cardinals, morning doves, a redheaded woodpecker, a blue jay comes and goes, and several small ones I am unsure of all which they are. And 2 rabbits, and an Oposum who makes an appearance late at night sometimes. No armadillo's in a while.

And those darn squirrels
