Pretty neat for scooting around and up and down fast, but the user will get really weak from not using those muscles, and I doubt this thing is useful under much besides a truck.

Pretty sure you'd still have to put the vehicle on jackstands first before finding the benefit of this Human Hoist, just like the truck in the video...

I actually just noticed that truck was on jackstands after watching it one more time, actually.

Maybe mechanics wouldn't see the value in this baby, but I'm sure Hugh Hefner could get down with it.

My initial thoughts:

- I'd have to wear a helmet, too.
- Looks great except most every floor would have a crack in an annoying place where it would hang up.
-Too expensive for the amateur.
-Does not show him turning a wrench. Can you lock those dolly wheels or would you be fighting for leverage?

cool, but with the video sped up it hard to tell how fast it actually goes up and down.

if played it real time it might seem kinda slow, might as well just get up the old fashion way... would also keep probably around a grand in your wallet too.

either way I could see someone who still loves to wrench that has a bad back or other injury would make good use out of it.

Looks bulky and somewhat slow. I think it does have its market for older people, or injured people.

I have a Bonester that I have been pretty happy with. My topside creeper is very nice but I had to modify a lot of it.

I typically bring the tools I need with me before I start working. I suspect most professionals do the same. Having to get up for new tools is time consuming.
