Ok. SO were getting the car ready for a trip in December. New tires, new wipers, i changed the oil, new air filter. Now, my parents sometimes tow a camper with the car. Its a mercury villager mini van. It has never had its back shocks replaced and when the camper is on it it sags quite a bit. Its got 90,000 miles onit. When ur in the back seat and you hit a bump, you feel it. Should I have the back shocks replaced. The shocks don't look like they are leaking though. Theres no fluid as far as I can tell. Took a quick glance. I want to order monroe rear shocks or the napa ones for 15 bucks each? Will these be okay? Thanx

Probably better than nothing, and looking at the price seems to be a cheap shock design, so even with the "good" ones you'll likely spend less than $50 each on the rears.
Broken record: Bilstein HD shocks if they make one for the Villager. Beyond that, whatever is available locally with a lifetime warranty, so you can swap 'em out when they die

Go to RockAuto and order the best ones you want to spend the $$ on. While your spring are probably a little tired, new HD shocks will certainly help.
I had the Villager. Even when new the rear shocks were fairly marginal. I replaced with KYBs
Shocks do not correct ride height. If the rear suspension is lower than normal, you will also need springs.
When shopping, get price estimates for a Mercury Villager and for a Nissan Quest. Sometimes parts for one cost less than the other, even though they are the same van.
