How to open old links

Is there a way to open old links from BITOG with address theoildrop.server101.com..... For example: http://theoildrop.server101.com/cgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=51;t=000925

Not sure if it'll work, but if the topic numbers are still valid and transfered over then take the t= number in the old oildrop URL and put it on the end Number= of the new BITOG URL. Your example, topic #000925, would then be - http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=000925 So hopefully it'll be what your looking for or some other equally interesting random article from the past. YMMV

I think it's random. I tried that before......
