Any one have tips on how to keep cat dig into my trash bag whenever I put outside for trash pick up date. My neighbor cat alway dig into my trash bag and also run and hide inside my garage, in affair I closed the garage and the cat trap inside without me knowing.

I don't want poison The cat I just want it to stop dig into my trash and my trash fall out on the grass, and the person that pick up trash he will not pick up those little trash like chicken bones….

Our city doesn't provide or allow trash can.

Thank you.

Use anti rodent trash bags. I live in the country and use these bags. On trash day I put these by the road, not in a trashcan and have never had raccoons or anything open them up.

That’s good because if you poisoned my cat the world would not be big enough for both of us.

Then it’s on them. If not the cat then the mice or raccoon or black bear or whatever. This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

Vinegar supposedly repells cats. Be careful though because it also kills grass.

Maybe a trash box with a lid out by the curb? In the country around here bare bags would be destroyed by raccoons and other critters. I've seen crows and seagulls make quick work of trash bags too.

Keeping them out of a garage is not easy. Neighbors cat had two litters in our garages. they got shut in without us seeing them go in. Wife had her fixed though so that problem is over but one kitten is still here and a female so she had her fixed too. I have a noisy electric leaf blower hooked up in the garage now so when I start it up cats scramble.
