How do I figure out what specs my 2021 Nissan Versa needs to meet in order to follow manufacturer spec?

I know it needs 0w20 but don’t know what specs the oil needs in order to meet.

Per your manual

• Genuine “NISSAN Motor Oil 0W-20 SN” (or equivalent) is recommended. • If the above motor oil (or engine oil) is not available, a synthetic 0W-20 GF-5 SN motor oil (or engine oil) may be used. Damage caused by the use of motor oil (or engine oil) other than as recommended is not covered under NISSAN’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty. For additional information, see “Engine oil and oil filter recommendations” (P. 10-7)

So SN / GF-5 in 0W20, no alternate weights listed.

I'm not sure if its DI or not, but I think this is a great "cheapest synthetic in your weight on the shelf that meets API" kinda car. It's not a bad thing. SP / GF-6 is the norm, so super easy.

id just put in whatever api sp rated oil and if its dexos and ford wss approved like quaker state full syn its prbably better than what was intended for it.

Was just going to ask the same.
my 2012 Altima QR25DE just says to have an SM oil.

So that's pretty much anything. Currently running Miles SynBlend 5W-30 because I got a deal on it. it's an SN/GF-5.
