If my trucks service manual says that it takes 4 quarts with the filter does it really only have 4 quarts of engine oil in it? How much residual oil is in the engine from the previous change?

When I drained my auto rx rinse and re-filled with GC how much dino would "mix" with my GC? Will it affect the effectiveness of my GC for the first run?

There will be around 1/2 quart in most engines. Some have more & Some have less.

As far as mixing the GC with the old residual oil - it all depends on how long you plan to run this oil. If you are going to do extended drains, then I would shorten it up a bit for this run. If you change at 5000 miles or less, just run it and don't worry.

The 3.0L V-6 in my last car (a Camry) retained 0.8 qts of oil that will not drain out at an oil change. In the owner's manual, there are two figures for oil, 4-point-something for oil change without new filter, and 5.0 when oil and filter are changed. In the SERVICE manual, those two figures are repeated, but they add a third figure: 5.8 quarts of new oil following a complete overhaul or rebuild of the engine.

So I can figure that there is anywhere from 1/2 quart to a full quart? Would it be worth a UOA even though I may have 1/2 quart of ARX dino rinse oil mixed in? Or should I wait til my second run to get a "true" reading of GC in my engine?
