How much is too much (Neutra)

At a little below a half tank, I added a full 12 oz bottle of Neutra. I have a 98 F150), I think it is a 33 gallon tank. Today, I filled the tank, I was under a quarter tank. To that fill, I added two 12oz bottles. So in essence, to rougly a tank and less than a half, I have used 3 bottles of Neutra. Can you use too much? If so, what would the damage be?

If I understood this correctly from a previous post, it takes 2-3 FULL tanks with doses, to clean the injectors? Just wondering when to start a maintenance dose too. Thanks.

your gas tank is 25 gallons, plus lines and filter an top off figure 26. The 1/2 tank marker is right on at half a tank, 12 1/2 to 13 gallons.

You only need to add more relative to the gallons of gas it takes to fill up, and that number is on the pump.

BTW, there are 4 gallons of gas left when the low gas level light goes on.

I have a gallon of neutra and a 2001 F-150 so I'm here this morning looking for the amount to add. It looks like 1 oz per gallon so far.

I have to look at my manual. Not saying you are wrong but when I filled up yesterday, it was 24 gallons (according to the pump.) That was with roughly a quarter tank left, maybe a little less. That would mean the tank is bigger than 25 gallons, unless my guage is wrong?

From the Schaeffers site:
TREATMENT LEVEL - For gasoline: Add 2 to 3 quarts of Neutra to every 100 gallons.

3 quarts = 96 oz to 100 gallons = .96 oz per gallon
You put in 12 and used up half of that so
6+12+12=30oz in 33 gallons = .91 oz per gallon

Right you are, I forgot about the 8ft box which gets a 30 gallon tank. I have no experience with that tank. Not many of those in this part of the country.

One could say that each tank is two treatments.
