How long have you had your car?

2004 Elantra - 90k miles. Wife's car. We're keeping it for another 18 months or so. It's paid off.

1994 Prelude - 160k miles. Bought it 2 years ago at 140k and it's been a great car. It's my "daily driver". Will keep it until is dies. I figure I'll get at least 220k out of it. It's in as good of condition as is possible for a 15+ year old car.

2002 Mustang - 50k miles. Bought May 2002. Not going anywhere and I only put 3600 miles on it in 2008. Has only seen rain three times. I'll be buried in it.

1984 gmc s-15 jimmy bought new plan to keep aslong as i am kicking 1995 dodge spirit still going strong underated car plan to keep a long time.jimmy has 296000km, dodge has 229000 km.wife just bought 2009 toyota corolla now has 10000km.

I have had my Ranger for a little over a year, but it has been in the family since it had 15 miles on the odometer. I don't see myself getting rid of it.

The longest I have had a vehicle is 3.5 years. That was my 2001 Ranger.

2000 Ford F-350 crew cab DRW, 2x4, Auto 7.3L 338,000 Miles currently bought new august of 2000
Will keep it until the big 3 figure out how to make the new diesel pickups run reliably and get the 18MPG this truck knocks down.

2002 Ford Excursion limited 2x4 7.3L Diesel Auto now bought new in October of 2002 now has 290,000 miles on it.
since ford killed the Excursion I will keep this on until the big 3 figure out how to make a 7 passenger diesel 3/4 ton SUV that gets 22mpg Like this one.

1985 F-250 2x4 7.4L 460 carbureted gasser 245,000 miles on original engine Bought new in September of 1985.
oil pressure getting REALLY LOW so I think the end is near for this truck but I have a feeling its sentimental value will get it rebuilt.

1989 F-800 6.6L 5+2 170HP 27,000Lbs EMPTY with national 556A boom mounted on it. 66,000 miles 7,100 hours. Bought in 2000
Looks like the lovely state of California will force me to purchase a new "emissions compliant" engine so this one will be worthless way before its time. SLOW but does its job without question when needed.

1991 GMC 3500 DRW,2x4 7.5L 454ci, Turbo 400, 4.10 12' flatbed 91,000 miles about done for.
going to be replaced with a Sterling Bullet 5500 6.7L Cummins 6spd auto 14' flatbed

1996 ford F-150 2x4 4.9L 5spd 130K should be good for at least another 100K or I get tired of looking at it.

I've had my '95 Integra LS with 146k on it since Jan. of 2006, I plan on keeping it until it gets too rusty to use anymore. I have a feeling that will be the only thing that kills it..

I have a '99 Ford F-150 I bought brand new. Still is like new at 45k miles. Thinking about selling it because it just doesn't get used much anymore, but it's hard to let go of such a good truck!

Daily driver is a 93 Subaru I bought 3 years ago at 80k miles. It's at 140k now and I want to get 4 or 5 more years out of it before the body falls apart from rust.

I got my 98 Corvette in August 2004 with 32,000 miles on it and it now has 103,000 miles on it. I plan on keeping it as my daily driver for at least 5 more years, then I want to get a 2008 or newer Corvette and I'll keep the 98 and give it to my wife.

My wife's 2000 Civic was bought brand new in October 1999 and now has just under 100,000 miles on it. We'll probably keep it another 5 years or so, then replace it with something slightly bigger (not a minivan though!)

Nice fleet. Construction company, or towing perhaps?

2004 Subaru WRX wagon owned since brand new. I plan on keeping until(if) we have another child(2 currently). Sadly my migration will be to a minivan of some sort.

Luckily my wife has the grown up WRX, a 250HP turbocharged Legacy wagon with manual transmission, that will likely become mine and I plan on never selling but junking it.

1992 Camry 200,500 (runs great, leaks oil)
1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 35,000
2000 Buick Regal 75,000

When Camry needs a major repair that may be it fot this car but hoping it lasts forever.

2006 Hyundai Santa Fe - First new car... Has 160,000KM on it now (100K Miles) and want to keep it as long as I can. I have always driven my old used cars to 400,000+ KM (240K Miles)...

Ive had my D150 since highschool. It was my late grandfathers. I plan i keeping this truck forever.

The '69 Coronet is my dream car. Its a driving project that when finished will be my last project.

The others i have no plans for. Im going to give the K-car to my little brother for when he is done with collage. Its basic transportation that will help him get on his feet.

I've had my 88 E-150 since new, it's in mint condition with 67,000 miles on it. I have no plans on getting rid of it. I want to keep it until its considered a classic and doesn't have to go on the Dyno anymore for State Emission Inspections.

Very Very good engines... You should have it forever!

77 Chevy LUV spring 1977
02 Chevy Cavalier February 02

Both have about 140 K and no issues leading me to replacing them.

I hope so, it would kill me to get rid of it. It's a bit of a hard find, it's a 4.9L with a 5 speed MT.

MY uncle had one and the engine was still going after 450K KM's and it was using very little oil. His I think was automatic. The body rotted out on it because he didn't believe in rust-proofing otherwise he would still be driving it knowing him!

Structural steel fabricator.

The first two trucks are my personal vehicles and the F-150 is also. The F-350 has towed WAY WAY WAY more than the factory said it should regularly without faulter. over 30K combined several times.

Also notable are 1994 Ford F-350 CC, DRW, AUTO, 2x4 7.3L IDIT factory turbo diesel with 236K bought new in September of 94. Currently has cavitation issues and MASSIVE blowby. ALSO ate transmissions like tick tacks under warranty.

Also have a 93 F-450 Super duty regular cab 2x4 7.3L IDI diesel auto, cab and chassis with a 14' Knapheied service body with a Lincoln Vantage 500 welder bolted into the bed. truck has 71,000 original miles bought a couple of years back for $5000. Truck is IMMACULANTLY clean.

it's gone now, but i owned a 1979 ford t-bird for 11 years while i was on active duty in the navy. drove it from norfolk to san diego and back in 1983. i really liked that car. had a 302 and never did anything to it besides regular maintenance. had a 1977 2 door ford ltd for 5 years. it had 140,000 miles on the 351m when i traded it on a new ranger. currently own the chevy in my signature. i plan to drive it to 200,000+ miles, hopefully.
