We bought one for my boss’ plantation. We use it a lot to pickup and drop off our pax at the local airport. Part of it was built in India then shipped to the US for completion so it took a good while.

I don’t understand the question. The Ford Transit. They build them in India, or major parts of them. They have to be shipped back to US to be completed.
I think they only built the small models there. There is a range of sizes and variations and your statement is unclear as to which model your boss has.

I didn’t know there were different sizes of transit. Ours is the fulls size one that hauls 11-12 people. I think they build the chassis/cab over in India then shipped it back to the US for the engine and everything else to go in.

Yeah that came off.
Never know exactly but the dealer didn’t make a ton of money on this one. Something something about us ordering early enough to not get the price hikes but that doesn’t make much sense because the price was less than the price we agreed to at order time
The dealer place is right out of 1969
Van is now beginning conversion. We are super excited- planning trips
Not planning on keeping it past manufacturer warranty?

Silly question - not sure what you are getting at. We will keep it as long as we like. The platform has proven reliable and extended warranties for the extra $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ not worrth it.
