How long does it take for Seafoam to work?

Today, it's much warmer than it has been earlier in the week, and now I have NO symptoms whatsoever.

Wouldn't a fuel problem be more variable with temperature than a bad spark plug?

Yes, I'm more likely to suspect something that's been in the car for 18 years and 200k than something that's been in the car for 2 years and 20k.

A crack in the ignition coil can do this too.

A crack in the coil can do this, but I already switched the coils, and the misfire didn't transfer :p

Anyway, it was still over 40 today, so I drove it for a bit to get some gas going through while it still runs fine.

Seafoam will work with certain problems, but it's not any better or worse than most other touted fix in a can products. It's cleaned up the 5SFE in my 00 Camry and the 2.5L Duratec V6 in my 96 Contour quite well, but it's not a first line product. I use it to clean carbon and sludge, and it works very well for this, but I recommend starting with something milder, which will soften the buildup, before attacking w a potent cleaner. Redline oils, perhaps MMO, etc, will all be a great way to start. If they don't work, THEN, use Seafoam.

I like and use seafoam as an intake cleaner only, through a vacuum line. Its effectiveness in a tank of fuel is questionable at best. Techron is far more effective as an injector cleaner, heck tc-w3 is as good as or better when mixed with a tank of fuel as seafoam is.
I seriously doubt there will be any noticeable improvements in idle and such using sea foam in a tank of fuel. Vacuum line type cleaning is all its really good for so unless you've applied it in that way don't expect much.

10 whole miles?

Bad fuel injector as in broken? If so, nothing that you put in the car's tank is going to fix it. Not after 10 miles. Not after 10 tanks.
